Located at The Line Hotel

Textile artist Janelle Pietzrack of All Roads Studio will guide students in the process of weaving on a wooden frame loom. Unlike most weaving classes, Janelle will incorporate the use of unconventional materials such as rope, wool roving, and raffia to encourage students to focus on texture, much like she does in her own work for All Roads. Students will learn how to wrap a frame loom, a basic plain weave, and how to finish and hang their piece. No pressure to finish the piece during the class, though, as Janelle will provide a full instructional booklet on the basics of weaving, a wooden frame loom, yarn, and needle for students to take home and continue their beautiful works in progress. l
