Kieron Cropper

Kieron Cropper is a collage artist currently based in Brighton, England. He goes by the name "CUR3ES". His work consists of 1950s pictures, and space themed prints. Cropper utilizes imagery from all different eras to create his psychedelically layered collages.  

Wayne White

Wayne White is an American artist, art director, painter, illustrator and puppeteer born and raised in Chattanooga. His paintings consist of generally oversized, three-dimensional text that floats on an abstract landscape or another illustration. Wayne is currently living and working in Los Angeles. He has made art for many television shows, but is most commonly known for his designs on "Pee-Wee's Playhouse."

Clare Rosean

Clare Rosean is an artist based in Chicago. Her illustrations are dreamlike and surreal, giving the viewer an overlap between fiction and reality. Rosean pulls inspiration from Chinese landscape paintings and children's book illustrations. 

Antonia Basler

Antonia Basler is a still life photographer based in Portland. She creates such obscure visuals by using color and pattern to enhance the "everyday items" she features in her photographs. Antonia is drawn to the look and feel of poorly constructed objects, especially ones you can find at a local dollar store. 

Meryl Rowin

Meryl Rowin is an illustrator based in Los Angeles. Her work has a painterly quality to it, using mostly desaturated colors and light brush strokes. She mainly focuses on illustrating people and food. Meryl is also creating a series of Gifs with her drawings.

Stacey Rozich

Stacey Rozich is an illustrator and painter who creates folkloric narratives that draws inspiration from various cultural references. Her intricate pieces come to life with watercolor and gouache. Stacey currently lives and works in Seattle, WA, but is constantly traveling to influence her artwork. 

Larry Sultan

Larry Sultan was an American photographer from the San Fernando valley. His images serve many purposes in the art world, and Sultan is a true inspiration. These particular photographs are part of a series called "Pictures From Home." The subjects in the images are Sultan's parents and the story takes place in and around their California home. The work is intimate, beautiful, and truly touching.

Dan Winters

Dan Winters is an artist with a wide range of talents, which all translate into the look he has spent his career defining. His talents range from portrait and documentary photography, to illustration and collage art. Known for his unique color palate, he finds a way to bring a bit himself into each of his portraits, and treats his all of his subjects with a heroic dignity. 

Ed Ruscha

Ed Ruscha is an American artist based in Los Angeles. A true inspiration, as Ruscha has been a prominent figure within the art world since the 60's. From painting and printmaking, to photography and film, he has provided us with years of bright, bold, statement pieces that have helped shape the pop art movement. Ruscha currently works out of his Culver City studio.

Sally Nixon

Sally Nixon is an incredibly talented illustrator currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sally portrays her young female figure with expressions and attitude that make her drawings come alive. She focuses on how her characters interact with their space. Sally is currently working on a 365 project where she draws a new piece each day. Her work is bright, colorful, and awesome!

Thoka Maer

Thoka Maer is by far one of the coolest gif makers out there. She is currently living and working in Berlin, creating real and abstract illustrations that come to life effortlessly with the use of pencil or crayon. Thoka captures the little moments in life that are so small, they tend to go unnoticed. 

Carissa Gallo

Carissa Gallo is a photographer and director based in Los Angeles. Carissa's work is emotional and beautiful, she is currently working on a series called "color studies" in which she explores the way humans interact with color. Often, her subjects are hiding their face, or are comfortably posed in their surroundings. These quiet moments tell a story of the artist's connection with her work and with her subjects.

Casper Sejersen

Casper Sejersen is a Danish fashion and still life photographer. Casper's palette is neutral and monotone. Each image has a sense of isolation within it, a subtle, dark quality that leaves you wanting to see more. 

Malick Sidibe

Malick Sidibe was a documentary photographer known for his images of West Africa. Malick, a legend, has passed away today. His iconic black and white images of the 1960's pop culture will always inspire us. 

Chantal Anderson

Chantal Anderson is a photographer based in Los Angeles, by way of the Pacific Northwest. Her work varies from documentary to fashion, and portraiture. Chantal creates stories of youth culture, and her journalism background influences her process. 

Freegums

Alvaro "Freegums" IIizarbe  is an illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Los Angeles. Freegums has a systematic and pattern approach to his artwork. Each creation is intricate and detail oriented.

Monica May

Monica May is a Los Angeles based portrait and sports photographer. She creates a moody, and dreamy palette with each portrait. Monica is a graduate of Art Center College of Design. 

David Benjamin Sherry

David Benjamin Sherry is a Los Angeles based landscape photographer. David's explorations and travels provide us with breathtaking imagery from around the country. His colorful, and epic photographs are a reminder of how vast the space is around us. 

Maarten Boswijk

Maarten Boswijk is a documentary, landscape, and portrait photographer from The Netherlands. His work is quiet and still, his subjects are isolated in time and there is almost a dark eerie feeling within each image. Maarten keeps a desaturated palette as he explores the relationship between people and place. 

Tom Kelly Slack

Tom Slack is a fashion and still life photographer and film maker from Los Angeles. His work is tasteful and extremely beautiful with an eye for the simple, subtle kind of light and textures. The imagery shown below is a sample of his most recent work. In this selection, you can see that much of his inspiration comes from painting, and fashion photography of the 50's and 60's.
